Sketch using only white pencil on black paper.
This is the opposite of how you would think about drawing a drawing, using the black of the paper for the dark shadow areas and using more pencil for the lighter areas.
How can I create the round, pudgy appearance of garlic? After much thought, I was able to create a great piece!
This assignment was only done by students who had completed the previous canvas painting.
