We experimented with various techniques based on the characteristics of watercolor paints. By learning the characteristics, you will become better at mixing colors and controlling the amount of water.
Try applying your favorite paint to an area that has only been painted with water, or just drop some paint on it.
How to create beautiful gradations, how to create a starry sky, how to pour a lot of water onto the screen and hold the paper upright or at an angle to move the paint, the difference between applying paint again before and after drying with a hair dryer, etc.
After a lot of experimentation, the second sheet shows how to make an underwater world. The sparkling lights were made with tissue paper and repainted with water. The first sheet was used to cut out the construction paper that was used in the experiment and pasted sea creatures on it. Many creatures with free designs were created.
This month is "Watercolor Development Month" and we will be giving assignments to help you become familiar with watercolor paints.
